Truckload - Temperature Tracking

No one likes melted ice cream 🍦. If temperature tracking is part of your subscription package with MacroPoint, any loads with temperature data will be visible under the Temperature Tracking tab.

iThe top left grid are thresholds (max & min temps) plus the targeted temp set on the shipment determined by the customer. Thresholds and targets can be set in two ways:

  1. On a load level via API integration.
  2. Globally for all shipments. Note: Global configuration is for ALL shipments in a user's account (ex. Max 5 degrees, min 0 degrees, target 2 degrees...every load will follow this logic).
  • Set (Target) - The required temperature of the shipment set by customer
  • Set (Max) - The maximum threshold the temperature can reach before sending alerts
  • Set (Min) - The minimum threshold the temperature can reach before sending alerts
  • Temp (Avg) - The average of actual temperatures received on the shipment
  • Temp (Max) - The maximum actual temperature received on the shipment
  • Temp (Min) - The minimum actual temperature received on the shipment
  • Exception (Count) - Number of temperatures received outside the threshold on the shipment

The bottom grid outlines every temperature update received on the shipment with the corresponding timestamp, location, and actual temperature reported.

The graph on the right visualizes the temperature trends throughout the life of the load.

  • The dark green line are all of the actual temperatures throughout the shipment
  • The green horizontal shading is the max & min threshold set on the shipment
  • The yellow is your cursor hovering spot
