LTL - Additional Statuses

We understand there's more to LTL shipping than dots on a map. Your handful of pallets could touch five different trucks, a train, multiple terminals, and deliver with a final mile carrier. You need to know all of this 🔍

The Additional Statuses tab provides you deeper carrier reported insights to what's going on with your shipment. 

  • Status Date - Actual timestamp of the event occurring
  • SCAC - Carrier's SCAC code
  • Type - Either Actual or Estimated. Actual means the event occurred. Estimated means it's the carrier's projected event in the future.
  • Message - Freeform text of the event message from the carrier. 
  • Location - Location of the event reported by carrier
  • Event ETA - If an ETA to the final stop is available on the carrier's API, it is listed here
  • Reported At - The timestamp MacroPoint was able to obtain the reported event. Note: MacroPoint calls the carrier's API every 15 minutes looking for a new status update. If there is a gap between the Reported At timestamp and the Status Date, this is due to latency of the carrier making the data available.
