Truckload - Adding & Updating Assignments
Whether your tracking session is an Unassigned Tracking Request or you need to swap out the phone, truck, or trailer number being tracked, MacroPoint has made the process insanely simple 😎
Adding Assignment
In the load detail view, click the 'Assign Now' button in the Tracking Assignment space.
Depending on the carrier's connection with MacroPoint, different tracking methods may be available for assignment. Driver's Cell Phone # will always be an option, but if a carrier has a telematics connection it will be available in the dropdown for use as well.
Input the appropriate ID based on the method selected in the drop down and click Ok.
Updating Assignments
To change the tracking identifier on an active tracking session click the 'Update Assignment' button under the Tracking Assignment space.
Depending on the carrier's connection with MacroPoint, different tracking methods may be available for assignment. Driver's Cell Phone # will always be an option, but if a carrier has a telematics connection it will be available in the dropdown for use as well.
Input your new tracking identifier and click Ok.
