Truckload - Understand Location History & Map
Who doesn't love seeing exactly where their load is on a map? Want to overlay weather radar 🌧️ down to the street level? Say no more.
The Location History tab is located next to the Tripsheet tab in the load detail view. Location History is a log of every update captured throughout the life of the tracking session. Data points include city, state, country, date, time, and coordinates.
Looking at the map, the solid blue line displays the optimal truck route determined by MacroPoint and does not change based on the driver's location. So if the driver goes off route and is running late, this provide you a quick view and talking point with the driver.
The red octagons are the stop locations based on the addresses and coordinates in the tripsheet. Zoom in on the map to get a very granular view of the facility.
The most recent location update on the session is highlighted black. Quickly get a snapshot of the update by hovering over the dot.
Last, to overlay live weather or traffic, click the sun or truck icons atop the bottom table. Note: Weather and traffic is a real-time feed and not stored historically.
